Navnit awards function for teachers in Aurangabad on Sep 30

Mumbai, Sep 21 (UNI) Leading book publishers, Navnit Publications (India), will hold their sixth annual award function for teachers at Aurangabad on September 30.

Former Maharashtra Education Minister Madhukarrao Chaudhary will present the awards, Navnit marketing director Jitendera L Gala told reporters here today.

As many as 131 awards will be given away to the teachers under various categories, he said. Two special ''Jeevan Gaurav'' awards will also be given away on the occasion, Mr Gala said, adding that a new ''Yashobharati'' award has been instituted from this year and its first recepient will be former Marathwada University vice chancellor Shivajirao Bhosle.
