MSN India now in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam

New Delhi, Sep 21 (UNI) MSN users can now chat with family and friends in five more languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Microsoft search engine MSN India today launched its portals and Windows Live Messenger in five different languages, apart from unveiling its all new homepage and the Windows Live Domain.

There are multiple keyboards options available with the language packages at www.bhashaindia.com with Windows Live Spaces, which allows weblogging, sharing pictures and music.

The new MSN Hindi and other regional languages feature of Windows Live Messenger is also integrated with the MSN portal and has contents like movies featuring film previews and interviews with the stars.

It also provides the latest news with a special focus on local news, infotech, astrology, sports, receipes and humour.

At present, MSN India has 265 advertisers stands as the the third largest internet subscriber across the country. It targets the Sec A and B aged between 15-34.

''MSN has witnessed 40 per cent growth in the last 6 years and its revenue has grown three times just by online advertising. Our main objective now is overall market expansion. We expect a 100 per cent growth year-on-year and plan to launch portals in other languages,'' Microsoft Corportion Pvt Ltd Head of Programming Krishna Prasad told reporters.
