Bangalore, Sep 21 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office here today at 0830 hrs.

Monsoon was weak over interior karnataka.

Rainfall occurred at most places over coastal karnataka and at a few places over interior karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall(cm):Mani 3;Gokarna Mangalore AP, Mangalore, Rabkavi, Ponampet 2 each;Karkala, Kundapur, Siddapura (U.K) Panambur, Shirali, Londa, Sringeri Sakleshpura Kottur Madikeri 1 each.

Forecast valid until Saturday morning:Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at many places over coastal karnataka and at isolated places over interior karnataka.

Forecast for farmers:Light to moderate rain likely to occur at many places over Uttara kannada district at a few places over Dakshina Kannada Udupi Belgaum district and at isolated places over Haveri, Dharwad, Shimoga, Chikmagalur, Kodagu districts.Mainly dry weather may prevail over remaining districts of the state.

Outlook for subsequent two days:Decrease in rainfall is expected over the state.

Forecast for Bangalore:Generally cloudy.Strong surface winds gusty at times.
