Kerala, Lakshadweep receive rain

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 21 (UNI) Kerala and Lakshadweep received rain during the last 24 hours under the influence of the South West Monsoon.

Local weather office today said Paravur received seven cm rainfall, followed by Thrissur, Kannara and Kochi airport three cm each, Kozhikode, Kothamangala and Minicoi received two cm each.

Rain is likely to occur in most part of Kerala and Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours, it added.
