India defeats Chinese Taipai, remains in title hunt

Chennai, Sep 21 (UNI) Continuing their fine form, India defeated Chinese Taipet 3-0 in straight sets to enhance their chances of winning the title in the 13th Asian Junior Men's Volleyball Championship being held at Teheran in Iran.

In the final round league match last night, India played a cohesive unit to score a 25-20, 25-19, 26-24 win, according to information received by the Volleyball Federation of India here today.

India would play Japan in its last league match tonight.

A victory against Japan will help India to annexe the title.
