Incessant rains hamper normal life

Kolkata, Sep 21 (UNI) Incessant rains continued in Kolkata and several adjoining areas under the influence of low pressure.

About 8 cms of rainfall has been recorded so far.

Massive water-logging was seen in most of the places in the city putting commuters in trouble.

Met department said the low pressure would continue for more two days causing heavy to very heavy rains.

The weather was cold with the maximum temperature at 27 degree celsius and the humidity was about 95 per cent.

Met officials forecast heavy downpour in the evening.
