HP not considering raising retirement age: CM
Shimla, Sep 21 (UNI) Putting to rest speculations that the Himachal Pradesh government was raising the retirement age of employees to 60, Chief Minister Mr Virbhadra Singh said any such proposal, which goes against the interests of the educated unemployed, would not be considered.
Talking to mediapersons here, he said the government, would not raise the retirement age of the employees from 60 to 58, since it would be against the interest of the educated unemployed.
''The state government is trying its best to create more employment avenues for the unemployed,'' he added.
