Express train coach derails in TN

Tiruchirapalli, Sep 20 (UNI) An air-conditioned coach of the Myladuthurai-Mysore Express Train derailed while entering the Kulithalai Railway Station, near here, tonight.

A senior railway official told UNI the coach derailed at 2140 hrs. However, there were no casualties or injuries. The reason for the mishap was not known immediately.

Senior railway officials, including Mr R C Jat, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Tiruchirapalli Division of the Southern Railways, have rushed to the spot.

The Coimbatore-Chennai Egmore Express Train was delayed at the Kulithalai Railway Station due to the mishap.
