Ex-minister's car pelted with stones

Hubli, Sep 21 (UNI) A miscreant pelted the car of former Minister Jabbar Khan Honnalli with stones here today, leading to a road blockade by his supporters demanding the arrest of the culprit.

According to the police, the trouble started when Mr Honnalli attended a funeral. Some people gathered at the graveyard and objected to his presence.

While he was returning from the place of funeral, a miscreant pelted his car with stones.

The police, who rushed to the spot, persuaded the MLA's supporters to withdraw from the road blockade.

The police are on the look-out for the accused.
