Digvijay alleges MP govt protecting Prof Sabharwal's killers
Jalandhar, Sep 21 (UNI) Congress General Secretary and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh today alleged that the Madhya Pradesh government was protecting the accused named in the Prof Sabharwal murder case in Ujjain.
Talking to reporters here today, Mr Singh said the accused who were active functionaries of the BJP frontal organisation Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad(ABVP) had enjoyed the patronage of the persons holding infuential positions and moreover the accused were felicitated after the crime.
He said that the government's position could be judged by the fact that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chohan even did not observe the courtesy of paying a visit to the house of Prof Sabharwal to condole the death.
