Arjun Munda meets BJP leaders to apprise them of developments

New Delhi, Sept 21 (UNI) Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today met senior party leaders to brief them on the latest developments in his state, where rebels led by independent MLA Madhu Koda were able to wrest the government from the hands of the NDA.

Mr Munda, after his meeting with the BJP President Rajnath Singh, called on party General Secretary Sanjay Joshi at the BJP headquarters this evening and said he would also meet former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and former president L K Advani tomorrow.

In a brief chat with mediapersons, the former CM said he wished his successor, who had demonstrated his majority in the 81-member Assembly, the best and said he only hoped that new government would last the rest of its term.

''The BJP would lend it construtive cooperation in all its good work,'' he said.
