Alcoholic kills wife for refusing money

Surat, Sep 21 (UNI) A man has been arrested for allegedly murdering his wife after she refused to give him money for liqour at Nasarpur village in Mangrol taluka of this district.

Police said Ramesh Roopabhai Vasava had demanded money from his wife, Ramilaben. The woman refused to part with the money at which Ramesh severely beat her up with a stick and inflicted grievous injuries upon her person. Ramilaben succumbed to her injuries later, police said.
