6th bomb attack on shops in Dimapur

Kohima, Sep 21: The continued bomb attacks this year at the market places in Dimapur has sent shock waves across the town.

The sixth attack that took place yesterday was a sequel of attack that occured on September 14, sources said.

However, no one was injured in the attack, sources added.

Continuous bomb attacks that had began since April 22 this year had left several persons injured and panicked, police said.

Meanwhile, the police had sounded a red alert in this commercial hub of state and had tightened the security.

Police had reportedly arrested one person in this connection and the interrogation is still on.

People here are apprehending whether they would be able to celebrate the forthcoming Durga Pujas peacefully.
