Transport association chief held in murder case

Ahmedabad, Sep 20 (UNI) All Gujarat Truck Transport Association president Samat Gogan was arrested from Adityana Village in Porbandar district in connection with the murder of Mulubhai Modhvadia, a close friend of Leader of Opposition in Gujarat Assembly Arjun Modhwadia.

Gogan is considered close to Dhimadula Odedra, the main accused in the murder of Mulubhai Modhwadia. Mulubhai was murdered on November 15, last year.

Odedra is the brother of Kutiyana MLA Karsan Dula and brother-in-law of Babubhai Bokhraya who was Fisheries Minister in the Keshubhai Patel government.

The police arrested Gogan yesterday after the Gujarat High Court recently reprimanded the Porbandar police for not arresting him thus far.
