Three die in truck-jeep collision

Bhopal, Sep 20 (UNI) Three people died and as many were injured, one of them seriously, when a truck rammed into a jeep at Parvalia area near Chandukhedi village in this district, police said today.

The jeep, carrying a Jhirnia village-resident injured in road accident for treatment, was heading for the state capital when it collided with a truck coming from opposite direction last night.

Jeep passengers Kamta Prasad, Harinarayan and jeep driver Mahadev were killed, while three others were injured.

The truck driver is absconding.
