Students agitation against fee hike turns bloody
Jaipur, Sep 20 (UNI) The 20-day-old state-wide agitation spearheaded by the Students Federation of India against the fee hike in the Rajasthan university, turned violent with the police using force to disperse the students.
In Sikar and Jhunjhunu, the the agitating students blocked traffic at many places forcing the police to use force to disperse the agitating students.
CPM leader Ravindra Shukla said the police used force on agitating students at many places in Sikar including district Badadhar, Losal, Harsabha, Laxmangarh, Ringes Police fired at students at Harsabha injuring many of them.
He alleged police took CPM state secretary Vasudev into custory while he was on way to Harsabha.
He said police alo misbehaved with Vasudev and demnaded action against the officials concerned.
