Scrap Indo-Pak joint statement at Havana: Advani
Mumbai, Sep 20 (UNI) Former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani today demanded that the joint statement between India and Pakistan be scrapped immediately and fresh talks be started with Pakistan.
In a brief interaction with the reporters after unveiling portraits of RSS founder K B Hedgewar and second ''Sarsanghchalak'' M S Golwalkar at Upnagar Shikshan Mandal here, Mr Advani said India was always fighting against terrorism and there could never be any compromise on this issue.
''The entire country is concerned about this joint statement at Havana and particularly worried about the way it was declared,'' Mr Advani who held charge of the Home ministry for six years during the NDA regime added.
