Monsoon still active in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 20 (UNI) Rain and thunder showers occurred at many places in Kerala and at a few places in Lakshwadeep as the South West Monsoon continued to be active.

Irrikur and Kannur recorded the highest rainfall of five cm each, the Local Met office said here.

Kannur and Kollam recorded a rainfall of three cm each.

The office said isolated rain was likely to occur in Kerala during the next 48 hours.
