Ministers in Jharkhand government not "reliable" : CPI(ML)
Ranchi, Sep 20 (UNI) Lone CPI(ML) MLA in Jharkhand Assembly Vinod Kumar Singh today justified his vote against the UPA-backed two-day- long Madhu Koda government and alleged that the Ministers in the new government were not reliable.
Talking to reporters after the trust vote, Mr Singh said his party was not in favour of extending support to the UPA after toppling the previous BJP-led NDA government and so he voted against the motion.
Mr Singh said he was asked to vote in favour of Mr Madhu Koda and all the three Ministers - Mr Kamlesh Singh, Hari Narayan Rai and Anos Ekka - instrumental in toppling the Arjun Munda government, were very much known because of their "loyalty shifting".
He said the people in the state were also aware of these Ministers and their activities.
Mr Koda and his three Cabinet Ministers had also served BJP-led Arjun Munda government for the past eighteen months.
The BJP-led NDA government was reduced to minority after the resignation of these four MLAs.
Mr Singh said the major UPA partners-- Congress, JMM, RJD-- were not serious about the future of this new government as they were not included in the government.
