Medico thrown out of running train
Jabalpur, Sep 20(UNI) Two persons, including a Unani Medical College student of Dewas, were killed as they fell down from the Indore-Howrah Kshipra Express near Patharia Station in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh today as they clashed over occupying the seat.
Government Railway Police sources said Alam Khan, who was proceeding to Allahabad along with three students of the Unani medical college at Indore, was thrown out of the train and he died on the spot, while the unidentified assailant, who also fell down, died at the district hospital at Damoh.
Police said Alam Khan hailed from Kunda in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. His friends lodged a complaint with the GRP at Damoh. The incident took place near Patharia on Bina-Katni section of West Central Railway.
Of the four medicos, three had confirmed reservation, while one was on waiting list, police added.
