Life imprisonment to 3 murder accused

Mahoba, Sep 20 (UNI) A fast track court has pronounced life imprisonment to three accused in a murder case here today.

According to the prosecution, on October 4, 2003 Roop Singh and Bhoora Singh clashed over a land dispute in Kharela town, in which Ratna, Krishna, Rajesh Chandra and Ramadhar were seriously wounded.

Injured were rushed to the hospital, where Ramadhar succumbed to injuries.

Additional district and sessions judge (Fast Track Court) Mahant Lal sentenced life imprisonment to Roop Singh, Dayal Singh and Veer Singh and imposed a penalty of Rs 5,000 each.

However, Kallu and Ghanshyam were acquitted due to lack of evidence.
