Jammat-e-Islam Hind opposed to terrorism in India

Vijayawada, Sep 20 (UNI) The Jammat-e-Islam Hind is firmly against any type of terrorist activities in the country, its Central Advisory Committee member S M Mallik said today.

Talking to media persons here, he said the Jammat-e-Islam Hind, an ideological and principle organisation would never encourage any form of terrorism.

He said it was the responsibility of both the Union and State governments to uproot terrorism.

Unfortunately, the terrorism was now called as ''Islamic terrorism,'' he said and added that Islam rejects all types of terrorism.

The Jammat-e-Islam Hind will hold public meetings and conduct seminars to create more awareness among people about the true values Islam.
