Everonn Systems ties up with WB govt

Kolkata, Sep 20 (UNI) Everonn Systems India Ltd, an integrated education and learning solutions company, today signed an agreement with the West Bengal government's school education department to set up its infrastructure and impart IT education in 555 schools in three districts-- West Midnapur, East Midnapur and Purulia.

The agreement is for a period of six years.

As per agreement, Everonn will be responsible for putting up the infrastructure and imparting education, where a minimum of 200 students per school, are expected to enrol for the IT program, R Kannan, Director, Everonn Systems Ltd said.

This programme would be implemented for students from class six to class 12.

The schools will provide the space required to set the IT infrastructure in these schools and Everonn Systems will be responsible for procurement and installation of necessary IT infrastructure across all schools.
