Diageo forays into vodka segment with Shark Tooth

New Delhi, Sep 20 (UNI) Leading liquor brand Diageo today entered into the fast growing vodka segment with the launch of its 'Shark Tooth', targeting the section A and B segment males.

Shark Tooth, distilled and bottled in India, will be available in two variants, Shark Tooth and Shark Tooth Extra with the 'Extra' variant containing Ginseng.

''The innovation team has developed this new to world vodka - not existing in the global Diageo portfolio - especially for the Indian market. We believe that the masculinity and the awe-inspiring attitude of Shark Tooth will perfectly fit our consumers need,'' Diageo Managing Director (India and South Asia) Asif Adil said.

Mr Adil said the brand's unique selling proposition is its high quality 100 per cent Grain Neutral Spirit (GNS) that delivers a unique and perceptible mouth and throat feel.

He said the brand has both style, with its masculine bottle, and strength because of the natural extracts in its triple distilled liquid.

The company yesterday launched its internationally acclaimed brand 'Haig Gold Label' in India.
