Cong ''charge sheet'' against MP govt

Gwalior, Sep 20 (UNI) The Congress district unit's mahapanchayat today framed 18 ''charges'' against Madhya Pradesh's ruling BJP government and handed over, to the administration, a memorandum addressed to Governor Balram Jakhar.

Congress District (Urban) President Prakash Khandelwal, President (Rural) Anresh Kailashia and Mahapanchayat Incharge Lakhan Singh, an ex-MLA, led hundreds of workers during a demonstration in the Maharaj Bada premises.

The charge sheet touched on issues such as the alleged murder of Ujjain's Prof Harbhajan Singh Sabharwal, false charges against Congress members, security for businessmen and regular supply of potable water.
