Bush has made conditions clear for Iran talks
WASHINGTON, Sep 20 (Reuters) US President George W Bush did not watch a UN speech by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad but he has already made clear Washington's demand for Tehran to suspend uranium enrichment before engaging in talks on Iran's nuclear program, the White House said today.
White House spokesman Tony Snow told reporters Bush had been briefed on yesterday's speech and his reaction was that ''we've been pretty clear on conditions for meeting and talking with the Iranians, which is to suspend enrichment and reprocessing-related activities and come to the table.''
