BJP activists demonstrate against City Centre scam

Jalandhar, Sep 20 (UNI) Activists of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) today staged a demonstration at the Company Bagh Chowk here to press for their demand for an inquiry into the City Center scam in Ludhiana by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The demonstrators gathered at the Company Bagh ad shouted anti-government slogans. They also demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.

Meanwhile, a large number of BJP workers left for Ludhiana to participate in the agitation, a party spokesman said.
