ALSTOM wins Rs 330 cr orders

New Delhi, Sep 20 (UNI) ALSTOM Group today won four major orders worth Rs 330 crore for equipment supplies and Renovation and Modernisation (R and M) work on four power plants in India.

ALSTOM Group has got the orders from National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC), TATA Power, NALCO and GEA Energy Systems (India) Ltd.

The orders consist of Rs 114 crore contract from NTPC, Rs 81 crore from NALCO, Rs 105 crore from TATA and Rs 30 crore from GEA Energy Systems (India) Ltd.

In India, ALSTOM companies have together a turnover of about Rs 940 crore with about 2,600 employees. ALSTOM is a major shareholder in ALSTOM Projects India Ltd.
