AerenR forms JV with US based Active International

New Delhi, Sep 20 (UNI) Leading infrastructure ArenaR Enterprises today entered into a joint venture with US-based corporate trading firm Active International, with majority stake being held by the latter.

The joint venture company 'Active International India', will seek to bring the business model of corporate trading to Indian markets.

''Indian economy is the most praised economy after the US and China. Considering the present scenario of Indian market, it seems to be that India is favourable market with the combination of free movement of capital, people and information,'' Active International International Division President Fredrick Fuest told reporters here.

Active purchases a client's underforming asset at its full wholesale value with a trade credit or cash.

The joint venture will invest in all companies. But initially its key areas will be media and textiles industry, Active International Chief Executive Officer George Blunt. The newly formed company is expected to fetch revenue of Rs 50 crore in the first year. It is already in advanced discussions with about 40 Indian companies.

''Active can provide excessive benefit to Indian businesses. Its business model works in similar markets around the world and we want to offer the same competitive tools to the emerging Indian marketplace,'' said Active International India Chairman Surinder PS Pruthi.

Active International is the global leader in corporate trade, providing customised ssolutions that help companies derive greater value from the assets. Active has operations in 18 countries and has created over 1.5 billion dollars in cash savings for its clients using the corporate trading model.
