Youth pioneers technology to view films on mobile phone

Kochi, Sep 19 (UNI) An 18-year-old has pioneered a technology to view feature films on mobile phone without spending time for downloading.

The patented technology, Movi, engineered by Eldose Bose, converts normal video into a special form, which can be viewed in a specially designed video player software, Movi Play.

Talking to newspersons here yesterday, Mr Bose said the software could be downloaded from the web directly to a video supported mobile phone or computer, and would work in all mobile platforms.

The technology, claimed to be the first in the world, would usher in a new era in the world of entertainment, he added.

Movi uses a special wizard called Movibar, which actively controls piracy and unauthorised access to Movi films.

Feature films, songs, video clippings, interviews and songs could be dowloaded by paying a nominal amount, he added.

A part of the earnings received would be given to the producers of the films concerned.

Mr Bose, who is a degree student, aspires to start a mobile channel in future.
