XI Plan App Paper to be put on PM's table in Oct

New Delhi, Sep 19: The Approach Paper for the Eleventh Fifth Year Plan will be sent to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the first week of October, Planning Commission Deputy Chief Montek Singh Ahluwalia said today.

''Now that Dr Singh has returned from NAM summit, we are ready to table the revised Approach Paper in the first week of the next month,'' Dr Ahluwalia told reporters here at the launch of the India Leadership Initiative The draft consultation paper which was brought into public domain just two months bach for the comments of all the stake holders and interested parties had evoked strong reaction from a broad spectrum of Central Government Ministries, state governments, economists and political parties.
