Top seeds continue winning spree
Kozhikode, Sept 19 (UNI) Top seed D P Singh of Jharkhand, second seed K Rantnakaran of Southern Railway and third seed R R Laxman of Tamil Nadu continued their winning spree with two points each in the second round of the first International Fide-rated Open Chess championship here today.
While Singh, who represented India at the last Olympic in Italy, defeat Vijay Kumar (TN), Ratnakaran outwitted P S Ameer (Kerala) Laxman beat Bindu C Sartha (LIC) in a spirited game held at V K Krishna Menon Indoor Stadium.
