South West monsoon brings more rains to Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Sept 19 (UNI) Rains occurred at most places in Kerala and at a few places in Lakshawdeep as the South West monsoon continued to be active.

Thiruvananthapuram airport recorded the maximum rainfall of eight cm, followed by Kozhikode, Kannur, Karipur Air Port, Palakkad and Kozha which received three cm of rains each, the Met office said here.

It also forecasts isolated showers over Kerala in the next 48 hrs.
