Royal Dutch Shell CEO meets Modi
Gandhinagar, Sept 19 (UNI) Mr Jeroen Van Der Veer, the CEO of Royal Dutch Shell company and his team met Chief Minister Narendra Modi here today.
Royal Dutch manages Hazira port and LNG terminal.
The team discussed with Mr Modi how to bring LNG cargo easily and safely at the Hazira port.
Shell Gas BV Hazira LNG Pvt Ltd (HLPL) has a joint venture Hazira Port Pvt Ltd (HPPL) and USD 700 million has been invested in the venture. Mr Van Der Veer also discussed about the Royal Dutch Shell's subsidiary HPPL setting up a non-LNG cargo terminal at Hazira port. The talks were fruitful, according to the CEO of Royal Dutch, an official statement issed here said.
Shell Company, India, CEO Vikram Singh Mehta, Shell Gas and Power Director Mark Dan Hartog and Hazira LNG and Port company CEO Nitin Shukla thanked the chief minister for extending cooperation to the project.
