recommendations
Hyderabad, Sep 19 (UNI) Jamaat-e-Islami Hind president of Andhra Pradesh and Orissa Zone Sayed Abdul Basit Anwar today demanded that the Centre implement the recommedations of the Srikrishna Commission to curb terror activities in the country.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Anwar said 'non-implementation of the recommendations made by Srikrishna commission was unjust, unsecular and undemocratic'. The Governments should implement the findings of investigating commission and punish the criminals, he added.
Stating that the organisation would organise seminars and public meetings to create awareness among the people about the Islam which opposes all types of terrorist activities, he alleged that the government agencies were arresting innocent Muslim youths without having evidence about their involvement in terrorist activities, and foisting cases against them.
