Qualith circle convention teams lauded

Visakhapatnam, Sep 19 (UNI) General Manager of the Simhadri Thermal Power project (STPP) of the National Thermal Power Corporation R Venkateswaran today congratulated the quality circle teams for their achievements in the chapter conventions of Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI).

The company in a release here said the 'Team Shakti' from Durgapur chapter of QCFI bagged the second best prize while 'Golden Flame' was adjudged excellent.

In Vizag chapter convention of QCFI, teams 'Chaitanya' and 'Urja Jyothi' were adjudged excellent, while 'Utility' was declared distinguished.

The quality circle teams presented case studies on technical subjects such as rectification of difficulty in maintaining boiler air heater performance and track hoper dust suppression system.
