Police intensify raids to nab absconders
Ujjain, MP, Sep 19 (UNI) Police have intensified raids in a bid to nab four absconders in connection with Professor H S Sabharwal's murder in student violence on August 26.
Inspector General of Police (Ujjain range) Anil Kumar told UNI that the CID -- investigating the murder -- had handed over the names of the accused to him last night.
The absconders included ABVP workers Sudhir Yadav, Hemant Dubey, Pankaj Mishra and Vishal Rajouria.
Mr Kumar said police raided the accused's houses last night but failed to arrest them. In this view, raids had been intensified.
He expressed hope that police will succeed in nabbing the absconders by night.
He added that details of property of absconders had been obtained by the CID.
