No question hour at Belgaum Legislature session

Bangalore, Sep 19 (UNI) Karnataka Governor T N Chaturvedi's remarks on the Office-of-Profit Bill among others have been listed for discussion in the Assembly at the five-day special session of the Legislature, to be held in Belgaum from September 25, Home, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister M P Prakash has said.

Speaking to mediapersons here yesterday, he said there would not be any question hour during the session. There would be non-official and official business on September 29.

With regard to the Governor's address, Mr Prakash said it would be clarified tomorrow. The Governor was likely to address a meeting to mark the golden jubilee of the formation of Karnataka, he hinted.

He said he would be visiting Belgaum tomorrow to supervise the arrangements being made at the two venues, where the Assembly and Council proceedings would be held.
