MP continues to receive rainfall

Bhopal, Sep 19 (UNI) Heavy rainfall, accompanied by lightning, lashed the state capital for about an hour this morning even as water entered low-lying areas.

Isolated places in Jabalpur and Sagar divisions received rainfall in the past 24 hours.

The Meteorological department said Khurai and Multai received two cm rainfall each overnight, while Javad and Kannauj recorded one cm rainfall each.

Rainfall was predicted at isolated places in Jabalpur, Rewa, Sagar, Bhopal, Hoshangabad and Indore divisions, while showers accompanied by lightning were expected in other parts.
