Karnataka IT Secretary to move out

Bangalore: Dr Anup K Pujari, principal secretary, department of IT, BT, Science and technology, Government of Karnataka, is likely to be transferred from his current post.

Sources say that an order has been issued by the government. The order states that Pujari will be taking up the role of joint secretary, department of economic affairs and moving to New Delhi. Dr. Anup Pujari was not available for comment.

Pujari took over as IT secretary from Shankarlinge Gowda in May this year when the HD Kumaraswamy-led state government came to power. A nominee for the post has not been announced but sources are not ruling out the name of Rajeev Chawla, Karnataka's secretary for e-governance.
