Former Nasik Mayor Dashrath Patil expelled from Sena

Mumbai, Sep 19 (UNI) The Shiv Sena today announced the expulsion of former Nasik Mayor Dashrath Patil from the party for anti-party activities.

A release issued by the Sena informed that the action has been taken as per the directions of Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray and executive president Uddhav Thackeray.

Sources indicated that Mr Patil was considered close to Mr Raj Thackeray. He was allegedly side-lined after the emergence of Mr Uddhav Thackeray.
