Eicher Motors ties-up with e-Logistics for Vehicle Tracking Systems

Mumbai, Sept 19 (UNI) Eicher Motors today announced that they have entered into a strategic tie-up with the Chennai based e-Logistics, one of the leading Logistics Solution providers for supply of Vehicle Tracking Systems, in the country.

The company's press release informs that eLogistics, a pioneer in the area of GSM-based Vehicle Tracking offers ''eTrack'' (patented technology) tracking solution without any driver intervention. A customised version of the same has been developed for Eicher customers, which is also very attractively priced.

Customers get a device installed in a vehicle they wish to track.

Using the GSM and GPS (Global Positioning System) network, the customer can track his vehicle or cargo on a PC, telephone (Toll-Free) or even access quick location and time data via SMS, the release explained.

''At Eicher we have endeavored to offer to our customers value added services through out the Product Life Cycle, and this is one more such initiative,''CEO of Eicher Motors, Mr A Ramasubramanian said.
