CPI(ML) team to visit Malegaon

Lucknow, Sep 19 (UNI) Communist Party of India (ML) will send a high-level team to Malegaon in Maharashtra on September 22 to make an on-the-spot inquiry into the incident related to bomb explosion on September 8, in which around 40 people were killed.

CPI(ML) politbureau member and UP state secretary Akhilendra Pratap Singh would lead the five-member team comprising party leaders of Jharkhand and Bihar.

Party sources said the team would meet people at Malegaon and take stock of the situation. Later, the team would visit Mumbai and join the agitation launched by Deshbhakt Morcha against harassment of minorities and violation of human rights.

The party would also demand implementation of the SriKrishna commission report by the central government.
