Businessman's house broken, Rs 6.67 lakh looted

Mumbai, Sep 19 (UNI) A flat of a businessman was broken by unidentified persons to flew with booty worth Rs 6.67 lakh at 'Gokul Kumbh' society off Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar road, Bandra in western suburbs here.

According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed by Mr Ghanshyam Bhagwandas Bajaj (64), he left the house at 1000 hrs yesterday for a business purpose. When he came back home at around 1700 hrs, he found the lock of the door broken and valuables and cash worth Rs 6,67,000 missing from the cupboard, police said here today.

A case of house-breaking has been registered against unidentified persons and further investigations are on, police said.
