Air Chief Marshal visits Kalaikunda Airbase

Medinipur, Sep 16 (UNI) IAF Air Chief Marshal S P Tyagi today appreciated the infrastructure of the Air Force Station at Kalaikunda which matches international standard.

ACM Tyagi said he was happy that the base had recently hosted major International Exercises with the US Air Force and Republic of Singapore Air Force. He also addressed the Air Warriors of the Base.

During his visit, the Air Chief also chaired a seminar on Air Power conducted under the aegis of New Delhi-based Centre for Air Power Studies.

The seminar was attended by senior officers, including General (Retd) former Army Chief Shankar Roychowdhury, Eastern Air Command's AOC-in-C Air Marshal FH Major and Air Commodore Jasjit Singh, chairman of the centre.
