55 injured in Manipur accidents

Imphal, Sep 19 (UNI) About 55 people were injured in two separate accidents at Manipur.

The first accident occurred when an Asom Rifles vehicle collided with with a bus at Ukhrul yesterday injuring about 25 passengers.

All of them were rushed to a nearby hospital, the police said.

In another accident, at Thoubal district about 30 people were injured.

The Asom Rifles PRO said their troops have helped to take the injured ones to the hospitals.

Some were being treated at the Asom Rifles hospital at Ukhrul, he added.
