3-day NC working committee begins in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sept 19: A three-day extra-ordinary working committee meeting of the National Conference (NC), the main opposition in Jammu and Kashmir, began here today.

NC patron and former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah, party chief Omar Abdullah and other senior leaders from all the three regions of the state were attending the meeting.

The meeting discussed political, security and economic situation in the state. The problems faced by the people, the flood situation, growing unemployment and other issues also came up for discussion.
