16 bodybuilders from K'taka to participate in Federation Cup

Bangalore, Sep 19 (UNI) The National Amateur Bodybuilders Federation has invited 16 bodybuilders from Karnataka to participate in the 22nd Federation Cup Body Building Championship, to be held in Shiv Sagar, Assam, on September 24.

Karnataka Amateur Bodybuilders Association (KABA) Secretary S Chandra Mowli, in a release here today, said the selection was made on the basis of performance in the last National Championship.

The Championship would be the selection trials for picking the Indian team for the World Championships, to be held in Athens and Moscow later this year, he added.

The invited bodybuilders were K Malleswara, Deepak Kavarappa, Keshavakumar, C M Deepak, B S Vinayaka, Khajakhan, Syed Ismail, Syed Iqbal, Mahaboob Pasha, K Wilson, Rizwan, M Viswanath, S Suresh, Kupendra, Sriramappa and Vijayakumar.
