Xerox India showcases digital range in Punjab

Amritsar, Sept 18: Manufacturers of digital printers Xerox India Limited today showcased a range of equipments targeting the graphic arts community and advertising agencies at the North India Printers Association (NIPA) meet here today.

The equipments include, Xerox Docucolor 250, a high performance professional digital production printer, Xerox Docucolor 12, an entry level digital color printing and proofing equipment and Xerox 4110, a mono digital production printer having the fastest scanner.

Xerox also launched two new production presses--Xerox Docucolor 5000, a mid production Digital Press targeted at the graphic arts community, and Xerox 4590, entry production black and white printer aiming at advertising agencies and commercial printers.

Speaking at the occasion, Regional Operation manager (North) Kuldeep Malhotra said that Punjab was one of the fastest growing states, and there was a tremendous opportunity for printers' applications such as print on demand and personalised print jobs.

Over the next six months, Xerox will roll out a focused market engagement activity to increase awareness of its digital production equipments via multiple road shows in Ludhiana, Chandigarh and Jalandhar, he added.

Xerox will work with its team of digital printing experts in Punjab to educate the graphic art community and commercial printers on the benefits of digital printing and innovative xerox applications and solutions, he said.
