Two addl judges sworn in

Chennai, Sep 18: Justice P R Sivakumar and Justice G Rajasuria were sworn-in as additional judges of Madras High Court here today.

Chief Justice A P Shah administered the oath of office to the new judges at a simple function on the High Court premises.

Advocate General R Viduthalai and presidents of various advocates' associations welcomed the new judges.

In their reply, they thanked the friends and the Bar.

With their appointment, the total number of judges had gone upto 45, as against the sanctioned strength of 49.
